Services
Rebuilds
Symptoms: Up/down shaft movement, oil leaks, normal wear and tear. Moderate smoking and powerloss.
Total tear down and service. Replace all internal parts with OEM kit including new bearings, thrust, piston rings, seals etc.
This is used for normal wear and tear including oil issues.
Cartridges
Symptoms: Scrapping, knocking, grinding, howling, up/down shaft movement, in/out thrust movement, oil leaks. Excessive smoking and powerloss.
A cartridge or Central Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) is the heart of the turbo. Replacing a cartridge with a new CHRA is the most common and simplest job for a turbo repair.
A new CHRA is used to assemble the turbo using the original housings. This is probably the closest you can get to a new turbo without replacing the entire unit.
Remanufactured
Reman Complete Turbos
Used turbochargers completely remanufactured using NEW parts including kits, CHrA, VGT vane, actuators, sensors etc.
Reman turbo units are then calibrated, balanced and extensively tested in-house.
Reman turbos carry the same warranty as a brand new turbo !!!
